Since the Living LAB concept is not widely understood, we decided to create a brand that would lead to thinking about playful digital spaces, where the sum of information creates new things, and voilà! the Bit-A-Bit brand was born. The logo mixes pixel-style graphics with an adapted typography, and includes a person-like icon. We designed the brand to be easy to understand, showing how digital tools can be good for us.
Taking inspiration from classic computer windows, we created a flexible design system. This system could be used in many different ways for various communication needs. It helped us maintain a consistent and adaptable style that was easy to recognize. The best part was that different teams could use this system easily, without always needing a designer to check every detail.

In addressing such a varied audience, of multiple ages and with different experiences in handling digital tools, we decided to create a visual identity that would be common to all, which led us to draw inspiration from the *retro computer* style. What better than the aesthetics of the first operating systems, where we learned to use today's tools, to think about the future of education.

The main inspiration for creating the graphic universe was naturally the different digital tools we use today. The visual identity of BIT-A-BIT is a mix of everyday digital elements, dialog boxes, chats, windows, avatars, all elements that are now part of any system, and of course, they should also be part of this project.
Every digital tool can be used for design. As designers, we often stick to our usual design software and ignore other programs. This limits our creativity and what we can do. This project taught me an important lesson: I can design with anything that lets me work with shapes, lines, and colors. Creativity isn't about the tools you use, but how you use them.
Definitely one of the great sources of information is people, identifying their needs and experiences and then contrasting them with those of others is a potential source of ideas and paths to explore.
